Give us some context
Don’t just post “Please recommend a course to study Python”. That does not give us any information about you or your learning goals.
Instead, you can add more details:
- Your academic background - e.g.: “Please recommend a course to study Python. I’m a 2nd-year student, pursuing my bachelor’s in Arts…”.
- Prior experience - e.g.: “Please recommend a course to study Python. I’ve 2 years of experience as a front-end developer…”.
- Your goal - e.g.: “Please recommend a course to study Python. I want to learn about web-scraping using BeautifulSoup library…”.
No “Should I study…”
No posts asking if you should read a certain course, or book. You will be better served by checking out review sites to decide. Instead, share what you have studied/enjoyed and allow the community to suggest new courses or books!

Trolling or Uncivil Behavior
Trolling, insults, or excessive hostility don’t contribute to the discussion around learning. Be civil. There are plenty of other places to fight on the Internet. Let’s keep the focus on study suggestions here. This includes joke responses.
