Hackish PHP
I recendly picked up PHP for mildly dynamic web pages and have really liked it for some initial small projects. Now I want to get a more complete grasp with my used copy of Programming PHP. It's fine if you want to participate with a different edition. I, port19, am a sysadmin by trade with coding experience in about a dozen scripting languages, most notably shell and python. I also had a lisp phase, but that's besides the point. My timezone is CEST (UTC+2) and I have time in the evenings starting ~6pm. What's important is that this is not a Laravel / Symphony / modern PHP study group, hence the title. Read some of the following posts to see if you'd be into it: my review: https://port19.xyz/tech/php-review/ why I started: https://www.devever.net/~hl/mildlydynamic another contrarian php post: https://phpthewrongway.com/
