This course covers the learning outcomes and goals of understanding security in Software Defined Networks (SDN). Students will learn about classic network perimeter defense, network threat analysis, SDN for security, network policy conflict arbitration, security essentials, authentication, authorization roles, permissions for OpenFlow apps, security audit, centralized security policy management, decentralized enforcement, and honeynets. The course teaches skills such as flow orchestration, identifying authentication, hierarchical authorization roles, security audit, and centralized security policy management.
