Astronomy - HumbleBundle

Humble Bundle is a distribution platform selling games, ebooks, software, and other digital content. Since Humble’s founding in 2010, their mission has been to support charity (“Humble”) while providing awesome content to customers at great prices (“Bundle”). Humble Bundle started by offering only game bundles, but have branched out to include an online storefront, a monthly subscription service, a publishing initiative, and lots more. Each bundle is carefully curated, often curated by a theme of a specific topic.

From the website

Astronomy, it's between God and me. Reach for the stars with this library of astronomy books from our friends at Springer! It's packed full of spacey goodness. You'll learn about next year's solar eclipse, about comets and asteroids and moons and the sweet views from other planets. And did you know that archaeoastronomy is a thing? It's totally a thing.

Pay $1 or more for A Stargazing Program for Beginners, Weird Astronomy, Racing the Moon’s Shadow with Concorde 001, and Rock Legends.

Pay $8 or more and you’ll also get Your Guide to the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse, Moons of the Solar System: From Giant Ganymede to Dainty Dactyl, The Great Canoes in the Sky, The Lost Constellations, and Finding a Million-Star Hotel.

Pay $15 or more for all of that plus SpaceX’s Dragon: America’s Next Generation Spacecraft, Earths of Distant Suns, Planetary Vistas, and Archaeoastronomy.

Pay $1 or more. Together, these books would cost over $404. Here at Humble Bundle, though, you name your price of $1 or more!

Read them anywhere. These books are available in PDF and ePUB formats, meaning you can read them anywhere at any time. Instructions and a list of recommended reading programs can be found here.

Support charity. Choose where the money goes – between the publisher, Springer; Challenger Center for Space Science Education; and, if you'd like, a second charity of your choice via the PayPal Giving Fund.
